I like holidays!
Every year people have holidays. It is wonderful to have holidays. You can do whatever you like, you don't have to get up very early, do your housework, look after your children or think of troubles which occur very often at your home.
I often have a lot of work to do, but if I am free what I do depends on my mood and, of course, on my possibilities. Very important is the time of the year.
In winter I often stay at home and just sleep, because my work days are very hard. I like watching music programmes, because I like listening to music especially to Grigoriy Leps. I like watching cartoons, chat shows, because there is not any violence. I like go skiing or playing ice-hockey or go skating or go fishing under the ice.
My favourite season is summer. The weather is beautiful, the sun shines and you can enjoy your life. In summer I like swimming, sunbathing, going for picnics with my friends or I just stay at home and see interesting programmes. Very popular is picking mushrooms. You can breathe fresh air in the forest. I like it very much!
As for sport, I prefer to play tennis and cards. I think cards are very popular and in any ways they are sports, too.
My weekends sometimes are very busy. When I have to do work I just sit on the sofa and do it.
Sometimes I like going to restaurants, bars or cafes with my boyfriend to spend sometime over branch, to take in some music (jazz), but I am often busy.
Sometimes I like to relax active, so I travel by road. Travel is very important nowadays. I can enjoy amazing weather, fresh air, wonderful morning, trees, and, of course, I like visiting places I want. I like driving my car. I like speed and enjoy it very much.
Last year I spent my holidays on the Naroch Lake. The Lake is one of the most wonderful places which attracts holidays-makers all over the world. There are many rest-homes, sanatoriums. But it is also possible to rent a room or a house for a couple of weeks there. In the daytime we played volleyball, tennis, sunbathed. We enjoyed it daily because the weather was beautiful! I understood one thing – people should relax active and not to be lazy. So I began to cycle. It was wonderful. I met a lot of people who were very nice to me.
I always try to learn something useful from my holiday. I sometimes bring back an unusual peasant recipe or a local pottery jug, an interesting book or a pen. I also try to forget all about home. And, of course, I tell my friends everything interesting about my holidays.
